According to recent data, approximately 10% of girls in Ukraine are married before the age of 18. This staggering number highlights the urgent need for further action to protect these vulnerable children from forced and early marriages.

Studies have shown that girls who are married at a young age are more likely to experience domestic violence, drop out of school, and face health complications related to early pregnancy.
