Examining Saudi Arabia’s Child Labor Laws: Are Children Being Protected?
Saudi Arabia’s child labor laws are governed by the Labor Law, which prohibits the employment of children under the age of 15. However, there are exceptions to this rule for family businesses and certain industries. Children between the ages of 15 and 18 are allowed to work, but they must have a work permit and cannot work in hazardous conditions.
Despite the existence of these laws, child labor still remains a problem in Saudi Arabia. Many children are forced to work in dangerous and exploitative conditions, often for little or no pay. In some cases, children are trafficked into the country and forced to work as domestic servants or in other industries.

By working together, we can ensure that children in Saudi Arabia are protected from the dangers of child labor and can lead happy, healthy lives.
